Funny Christmas Mugs for Cat, Dog and Bird Lovers
A mug is one of the easiest Christmas gifts to get right. There's no size to guess, almost everyone drinks something hot in December, and a funny one gets used long after the wrapping paper is gone. If the person on your list loves cats, dogs or birds, a mug with their favorite kind of animal is an easy win.
These four mugs are new in our shop for the holidays. Each one is an 11 oz ceramic mug with the design printed around it, and each costs the same price.
For bird lovers
One very protective hen, and zero tolerance for anyone touching the good ornaments. It's the right mug for the person in your family who guards the fragile, handed-down decorations every year. It also works for anyone who keeps backyard chickens.
A penguin wearing every scarf it owns. This one is a winter design more than a Christmas one, so it stays in rotation through February. It's a good fit for the friend who's always cold, or for anyone who loves penguins.
For cat lovers
The tree is coming down, but the cat is still very much supervising. Cat owners know their cat has opinions about the tree, both going up and coming down. Because it's about the end of the season, it's also a fun pick for a late gift or a New Year's swap.
For dog lovers
"Technically it fits in the stocking. Mostly." A pug that is a little too big for the stocking it's sitting in. It's an easy gift for any pug owner, or anyone whose dog thinks every gift bag is for them.

When to order for Christmas
Each mug is printed after you order it, which takes 2–7 business days, then the carrier needs time to deliver it. To have it by Christmas (Friday, December 25), order by about December 7 to be safe. If you're giving it at an office party earlier in December, count back from that date instead.
Order-by suggestions (not guarantees): for Thanksgiving (Thu, Nov 26, 2026), order by about Nov 9 to be safe. For the first night of Hanukkah (Fri, Dec 4, 2026), order by about Nov 16. For Christmas (Fri, Dec 25), order by about Dec 7. Carriers get slower in December, so earlier is better.
