Hanukkah Gifts: Cute and Classic Tees and Mugs
Hanukkah lasts eight nights, which is a lot of chances to give something small. A shirt or a mug is an easy gift for one of those nights.
These are the Hanukkah tees and mugs in our shop right now, in two styles. The cute set uses soft, retro illustrations of friendly animals, latkes, dreidels and sufganiyot. The classic set is simpler: blue and gold designs with a star, a menorah or a row of candle flames. The tees are printed on Comfort Colors 1717, a heavy garment-dyed cotton tee with a relaxed fit. The mugs are 11 oz ceramic.
Cute tees
A black cat pouncing on a spinning dreidel, with the words "It Spins, I Pounce." Anyone who has played dreidel with a cat in the room knows how this goes.
An orange cat sitting on top of a tall stack of latkes like it's in charge. It's a good fit for whoever does the frying every year.
A dachshund next to a blue and silver menorah, with a simple "Happy Hanukkah." This is the most classic design of the group, and an easy choice if you want something sweet rather than jokey.
A bear in striped pajamas holding up two sufganiyot (jelly donuts), with the words "Eight Nights Of Snacks." It's a cozy shirt for the night you stay in.
Classic blue and gold tees
A clean Star of David with HANUKKAH in spaced lettering. It's the most understated shirt here, a good pick for someone who likes simple designs.
A glowing row of eight candle flames with the words "Eight Nights of Light." It's festive without being loud.
A blue and gold menorah with "HAPPY Hanukkah" lettering. It matches the menorah mug below if you want a set.
Mugs
The same blue and gold menorah design printed on a mug. It's a safe gift for a teacher, a host or a grandparent.
The latke-stack cat on a mug, for the person who wants the joke on their morning coffee instead of their shirt.
The pajama bear on a mug, raising two mugs of its own. It's an easy gift for a teacher, a coworker or a neighbor.
Cute or classic?
If you're shopping for someone who likes a little humor, go with the dreidel cat or the latke supervisor. If you're buying for a grandparent or someone you don't know well, one of the blue and gold designs (the star, the candle flames or the menorah) is the safer, more traditional pick. A mug avoids guessing at sizes.
When to order
In 2026, Hanukkah begins at sundown on Friday, December 4. Every item is printed after you order, which takes 2–7 business days, plus carrier time. Ordering by about November 16 is a safe target for the first night. If you're giving one gift per night, the later nights give you a little extra time.
Sizing: Comfort Colors tees have a relaxed fit. Size up for a roomier look.

Order-by suggestions (not guarantees): for Thanksgiving (Thu, Nov 26, 2026), order by about Nov 9 to be safe. For the first night of Hanukkah (Fri, Dec 4, 2026), order by about Nov 16. For Christmas (Fri, Dec 25), order by about Dec 7. Carriers get slower in December, so earlier is better.
